Chalk Mercantile and The Trove are excited to bring together the most creative artisans and vintage/antique merchants from all over Connecticut for our second annual Repurpose Happiness and Vintage Market this September at the historic Chester Fair Grounds.

Repurpose Happiness will be host to an eclectic mix of handmade, vintage, repurposed and antique goods and is sure to have something for every style, taste and age! Along with a myriad of vendors, makers, merchants and artisans, Repurpose Happiness will also host a fleet of food trucks and live music for all to enjoy.

Repurpose Happiness is for anyone who wants to see first hand Connecticut’s vibrant arts and antique culture, looking for rare or limited runs items, or just wanting to have a good time this September in the  Historic Town of Chester. As the fairgrounds are only a 5 minute drive  from the Chester downtown the Repurpose Happiness Vintage and Maker Market is a centerpiece to a fun and family friendly outing, check out the Visit Chester Facebook page.

Repurpose Happiness opens its doors on Saturday, September 1st at 10am and runs until 4pm that afternoon, rain or shine. 9am early admission is offered with a $10 fee, general admission is $3 and children are free all day. Part of the admission proceeds will go to The Academy at Mount Saint John in Deep River, CT.  The Academy offers a therapeutic learning environment with high academic rigor and strong vocational options for young men ages 11 – 21.
